While driving your caravan - seal off the water inlet to prevent dirt entering the plumbing.
In the garden - if you don't normally use a spray gun, attach the cap and accessory connector to the end of the hose to stop lizards and insects from crawling in.
Stop leaks at a tap - attach the cap and accessory connector to a tap connector to seal off the water (good as a temporary solution, ideally you need to replace the tap washers!)
